Youth Ministry

Here at Northwest Church we believe the youth are the future of the church and we also believe that the youth are part of the church RIGHT NOW. We strive to create a community where all voices are heard, including our teens. With that in mind, the youth program at Northwest endeavors to create a safe, nurturing space where teens can grow in their relationship to God and each other. A space where adolescents can ask the big, tough life questions without fear of being shut down or shut out.

Make Sundays Meaningful!  Join us for uplifting worship and community connection every Sunday morning.  Youth Ministry meets upstairs during second service after communion (around 11:15 AM). Special Sunday evenings are all about fun and faith for our youth, featuring fellowship, game time and devotionals!
Our students work together to serve the community in which we are planted. One of those projects is our annual Kids Camp, where we host community children for a fun-packed week of summer fun activities and learning about God. 
Throughout the year, we look for special events, camps, and retreats, along with opportunities to serve this church family and our local community. These include Winter Camp, Summer Camp, Kids Camp (students serve as camp counselors to younger kids) and other gatherings.

Regular Schedule

Sunday Mornings | 10:30 am:

Start with everyone! Teens join the whole congregation for worship, praise, and communion with their
families. Then after communion, teens transition into their own engaging, discussion-based class
where they explore how scripture connects to the real issues and complexities of their lives.

Sunday Nights | 5:30 – 7:00 pm (Sept – mid June, with Summer Hiatus for Special Events):

Experience community with the youth group – enjoy games, snacks, relevant devotionals, and time to
hang with friends and build new relationships.

regifting Christmas Party

January 4th is our Regifting party!

For a fun activity, we’re inviting students to rewrap a bad gift to give to others during our “Regifting party.” If your student doesn’t want to regift something, they’re welcome to buy a gift (but no more expensive than $10).

Join us for an AWESOME weekend getaway for Fusion at Miracle Ranch!

Miracle Ranch is a western-themed camp offering a wide variety of fun activities, including horseback riding, archery, paintball, a high ropes course, and maybe dirt biking!

We will be joining with other youth groups to explore together all that Miracle Ranch has to offer—from great food and music to an abundance of fun programs and activities! We will enjoy an engaging guest speaker who will teach us more about God as we dive deeper into the scriptures.

Throughout the year, we look for special events, camps, and retreats, along with opportunities to serve this church family and our local community.
