Holiday Feast from Friends 2024

Each fall, the NWChurch supplies more than 350 families with everything they need for a holiday feast. Here’s how it works: We invite families to fill two grocery bags with all of the non-perishable items a family would need for Thanksgiving Dinner. This year you can get your grocery bags and lists starting October 13th. You have about a month to shop and return those bags on November 17th. We raise $12,000 to purchase gift cards to put in those bags for families to purchase their own preferred meat. On Saturday before Thanksgiving, we distribute those bags to families who have registered to receive a Holiday Feast from Friends. CLICK HERE TO GIVE TO HOLIDAY FEAST FROM FRIENDS.

Rising, Fall sermon series

This Fall, we will explore the book of Hebrews and how to develop a faith that rises above the tides of cultural shifts and uncertainties. While these changes may shake us, our faith can remain strong. Join us as we dive into this powerful text with one primary goal: building a stronger, more resilient faith.

“Rising Above the Tides” is a concept that resonates with anyone who has experienced the ocean. When the tide comes in, it often brings strong undertows and violent waves, making it difficult—and sometimes dangerous—to stay afloat, especially for those who panic. However, those who know how to navigate the ever-changing seas can rise above the challenges.
