HEART TO HEART MENTORING

Women helping women ... that's what we're about!

Heart-to-Heart Mentoring

Heart-to-Heart is a mentoring program that helps older and younger women develop important, supportive friendships.

Who is it for?

  • All adult women in our church.
  • Older women (that is, in terms of life experience and walk with the Lord, not necessarily chronological age). God calls for older women to open their lives and hearts to the next generation. Share goals, dreams, and your own personal spiritual journeys.
  • Younger women seeking a role model who can give them hope and confidence that life’s journey can be lived victoriously, or who need someone near when family lives far away.
  • An opportunity for younger women to tap into the reservoir of experience, empathy, maturity, and spirituality that older women can often provide.

What are the guidelines?

  • Make a one-year commitment to the relationship.
  • Contact each other once a week and meet at least once a month.
  • Pray for each other regularly.
  • Do things together like a study the Bible, shop, learn a new skill, go to lunch, etc.
  • Partners are free to do what they want as long as they work on developing a Christ-centered relationship.
