Warm Hearts, Hot Irons

Thursday, May 28, 6 – 9 PM | @ Community Life Center                                    Service Project for Two Hearts Pregnancy Aid

A women’s ministry service opportunity for Two Hearts Pregnancy Aid in Everett-
Women of all ages are invited to support Two Hearts Pregnancy Aid by ironing freshly washed children’s clothing to prepare it for their clients.

Bring your dinner, your ironing board and an iron. We’ll eat dinner together, then put our hands to work and our hearts to the mission of SERVING, the “S” in our Sisters of SOUL name and in our mission statement: “We are women of the Word connecting through Service and Outreach, building Unity through the Love of Christ.”
Come join us for a few hours, to help meet the needs of young families in our community!

Pickleball Clinic

Monday, June 15, 6 – 8 PM | @ Community Life Center                                    

Did you know Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in America? And it’s also a great opportunity for fellowship? Come join the Sisters of SOUL on Monday, June 15, from 6 to 8 pm for a Pickleball Clinic in the CLC gym. We welcome women of every skill level. Even if you’ve never played, come and see what it’s all about. 

Bring a water bottle and wear comfy clothes and court or tennis shoes. Snacks will be provided. Stay as long or short as you like.

Women's Bible Study

We gather not only to study God’s written word but to live it—together. Our women’s Bible study is a sacred space where scripture meets real life, and friendships are forged through laughter, tears, prayer, and the occasional spilled coffee. “Click here for current or upcoming Bible study”

Manifesto Workshop

A personal manifesto is a series of present tense statements that embody your values related to who you are and who you aspire to be through God’s transforming grace and power. Last held in Jan 2025, we anticipate this event to recur every other year.

Taste & See

Psalms 34:8 “Taste and See that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.” Taste and See is meant to fill a group of diverse women with encouraging words for the heart, mind and soul, and foster connection. Held annually since 2019, the theme varies from holiday foods and gift ideas to ethnic dishes.

In addition to our recurring “What We Do” activities, we schedule a variety of activities with the intention of appealing to a wide range of women’s interests. Our hope is to engage them in pursuits that lead them to closer relationships within our NWC community and with God.

Heart to Heart Women's Mentorship

Heart to Heart is a 1-year mentoring program for adult women who attend NW Church.  Sign up occurs during the month of January.  Orientation and the matching of mentors and mentees take place in February.  Heart to Heart has been a blessing to many women!

Cup of Connection

This twice-yearly event features women from NW Church sharing a brief, personal testimony about how God has worked in their lives. After hearing from our sisters, we gather in small groups to process their stories and encourage one another in how to apply the concepts and teaching to our personal walk with Jesus.

How We Serve

Join the team who provides practical support for our various ministry activities. Bring your energy and your talents to help with tasks such as room preparation, decorating, arranging for food and beverages, and greeting attendees.

In addition to your regular times of prayer with God, join an intimate group who meets monthly to praise, give thanks and appeal to our Lord, inviting the Spirit to speak to us and intercede for us as we partner with God in His work.

Women's Ministry News & Events

“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”

– 2 Timothy 3:16-17

We plan and host a wide-range of events that allow women to creatively build relationships with one another. We do all kinds of engaging things together with the intent of developing friendships and reaching our community.
Some activities focus on helping women grow in their relationship with God by working through Bible studies together. Gaining more understanding about Jesus helps us to serve others.
Women helping women ... that's what we're about. Our Heart-to-Heart mentorship program connects women in deeper supportive and encouraging relationships.
