TRANSFORMING  LIFE
                   and COMMUNITY

People need a place to connect, serve, and grow. They want to  be part of life and community transformation. But finding a non-denominational church with an outward focus can be difficult.  Northwest Church invites you to join in as we reach people through God's love.

Wait & Renew

People need renewal. Over the past couple of years people have experienced a global pandemic, cultural unrest, and the loss of lifetime relationships. This zaps your strength. People have done a lot of waiting, wandering, and wasting (time, energy, money, stuff, etc.). People want to move forward but don't know how. They need more than recreation, they need renewal.

In a time just after a major crisis, God spoke through the prophet Isaiah these words, "Those who wait on the Lord will renew their strength, they will mount up with wings like eagles." Is. 40:31. That sounds amazing to me. This fall, we will be exploring the relationship between intentional waiting and complete renewal. Our goal is to strengthen and encourage. Come join in (online or in-person).

What God Is Doing,
Where God Is Working

At Northwest we talk about joining God's Spirit to transform lives and community as the core of our mission. We look to see what God is doing around us.  We listen to hear where God is calling us to serve. We don't want to simply "go to church" we want to "be the church". Followers of Jesus are called to serve like Jesus served and love like Jesus loved. Everywhere he went he loved the marginalized, taught the truth (gently and creatively), and served others. He called people to embrace abundant life and leave empty religion. In 2016 God enabled the NW Church to build the Community Life Center in Lynnwood, WA to facilitate this kind of ministry. We join with God's Spirit, our local community leaders, and other churches to make an impact. We serve  in the local community, the North Puget Sound region, and global-mission sites around the world.   Click Here To Explore Northwest
