The Church Fathers: You Gotta Meet These Guys!
Meet the second generation of church leaders! They got the church through some awful stuff, and they wrote a lot! Their writings were preserved and copied through the centuries just like the Bible and are held in high regard by both Catholic and Orthodox Christians. Their writings helped to determine which books were included in our Bibles. Seriously, you gotta meet these guys!

RESUMES IN THE FALL
Psalms of Ascent - Songs for the Journey
Join us in a new study of the Psalms of Ascent. This section of the Bible—Psalm 120-134—is a special group of songs sung by Jewish pilgrims and priests as they approached the Temple. The city of Jerusalem is situated on a high hill, and Jews traveling to Jerusalem for one of the three main annual Jewish festivals traditionally sang these songs on the "ascent" or the uphill road to the city. In these songs, you'll discover hope, worship, peace, blessing, and unity—all things we desperately need in our lives today. We look forward to this pilgrim journey together. Taught by Care Pastor Bill Lawrence.
