Helping Hand - Ashley Project

WOW! Thank you, NWChurch, for your quick and overwhelming response to help a young man who is trying to get back on his feet in a new home. Within minutes of sending out the email, we had many people responding. We have now secured all of the items on the list below ... and then some! Your generous hearts are amazing!

While all the material goods listed below have been donated ... we would also ask you to continue praying for this man. Pray that he would settle into his new home well, and that progress would continue. Pray that he would sense the love of God in all of these gifts and seek out his true Savior.

"I have a client who just got approved for housing, he has been homeless in Lynnwood for 10 years so we are SO excited for him. He does not have anything to furnish the apartment so I wanted to reach out to see if your church might be interested in helping with some of the things he needs?"

We can rally together as a church to support an individual who has very specific needs. Can you provide any of the following?

Smaller items can be brought with you on Sunday, 1/27. Larger items should be delivered to the church on Wednesday afternoon (1/30) or Thursday morning (1/31) so they can be loaded onto the truck.

Here are some of the things you have provided:
  • Couch or Living room chair
  • Bookshelf
  • Coffee Table
  • Kitchen Table/Chairs
  • Queen size mattress/box spring
  • Bath mat (non-slip)
  • Pots & Pans
  • Dishes
  • Glasses
  • Silverware
  • Laundry detergent
  • Dryer sheets
  • Dish soap
  • Hand soap
  • Paper towels
  • Toilet Paper

Contact Julie Roberts in the Church Office (425-921-6402) to ask questions or to coordinate your delivery of items to the church.

If you have questions about this program of the Lynnwood Police, or would like to let them know about someone else in need, please contact the Lynnwood Police Outreach Team or call 425-670-5670.
